Join Us

When we come together as a community we can achieve wonderful things. We are fighting to reduce the worst effects of the climate and nature emergency on our community and further afield, and adapt in the face of it.
We do this with education, action and collaboration.

We need to expand our team, and we would love you to join!

(please note that all roles are voluntary)

Available positions:

Fundraiser (voluntary)

We’re looking for someone to help us unlock local funding — someone who can spare just a few hours a week to write or support applications to local trusts and foundations. This voluntary role is vital: without funding, key projects may have to be paused.

Experience with fundraising or writing is a bonus, but not a must — if you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and care about Henley’s future, we’d love to hear from you.

Please share with anyone who might be a good fit!

Approx 2 hours a week

Events Team Members (voluntary)

We are looking to build up our events team to give us the ability to hold more events and reach more people. These might be member meetings, nature workshops, schools network workshops, education talks.

If you’re the type of person who is great at organising and wants to make a real difference, please get in touch.

Approx 2 hours a week (or more!)

Volunteer Coordinator (voluntary)

Greener Henley is looking for a friendly, organised person to help coordinate our wonderful team of volunteers. You’ll keep track of who’s helping at which events, make sure volunteers have the info they need in advance, and help welcome new joiners. Good people skills, confidence using Google Sheets or Excel, and a methodical approach are all helpful — but most of all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with others and can give a few hours a week to support our mission for a safer, cleaner, greener Henley.

You can get in touch to express an interest in any of the above roles on [email protected]

If you would like to volunteer but none of the above fits the bill, do still contact us because we would love to have you involved!
