Short description Poetry Competition
Do you love the the joys of nature?

As part of Henley’s Great Big Green Week we are launching a poetry competition – write a poem about what lifts your heart or you would miss or mourn if it disappeared because of climate change.

It can be any format : maximum 19 lines.

There will be 3 categories:
Children under 12 years
Teens 12 -18 years
Adults over 18 years

CLOSING DATE – 31 May 2023

How to submit your poem:

Please give name, age and contact details when submitting your poem.

Entries will be displayed at Henley’s Great Big Green Fair on Saturday 10 June and at Henley Library.

Prizes will be £25 Book Tokens

We are hoping we can use the Henley Library on the evening of Tuesday 13 June during Great Big Green Week for a poetry reading. Watch this space for updates..
