Reflections on the River – poetry competition
Submit entries by 31 May 2025

You are invited to write a poem based on the theme Reflection on the River. Can you express your feelings about the river and why it is important to you and your community or environment?

Your poem can be any format : maximum 19 lines.

There will be 3 age categories: children under 12 years; teens 13 -20 years; adults 21 years or over.

There will be £20 Book Token prizes for winners in each category! There will also be a special memorial prize in honour of Richard Fortey.

CLOSING DATE – Saturday 31st May 2025

A Poetry Reading session at Henley Library will showcase the winning entries on Monday 9th June at 6.30pm. Competition entries will be displayed at Henley Library.
