Primary environmental science competition

As with almost every other aspect of life, the competition in 2020 has been dominated by Covid 19 and the response to it. Initially four schools were going to take part in the competition and in the end two dropped out due to time pressure leaving St Mary’s School and Rupert House school in the competition. Both their entries were of the highest standard and the children and their teachers should be commended for the effort that they put in. When it came to the judging we decided that there was nothing to separate the two entries, so we awarded a joint first prize to Rupert House School and St Mary’s School.

During 2021, we will aim to build a broad network of local alliance partners (including schools) in the Henley constituency to support the campaign, and we look forward to meeting with John Howell in the New Year to discuss the Bill.

Involvement with our local schools

Is your school involved in a project you’d like to let Greener Henley know about? Or perhaps you’d like someone from GH to come in to your school to talk to a class or do an assembly about one of the issues we cover, please do get in touch at
