What happened to Earth’s climate recently\, and what is to come? Why is Net Zero promoted as a solution to global warming? Is Net Zero possible\, or even desirable? What can I do about all this? \nProfessor Christopher Merchant (University of Reading) will address these questions in his talk In Our Hands: Our Climate Future\, followed by ample time for audience questions and answers. The talk will present the key science that makes climate change a formidable challenge\, and will discuss how ingenuity and determination can meet the Net-Zero challenge.
