Therapeutic landscapes for healing and inspiration

8.45 a.m. for 9 a.m. start. We aim to be back by 11 a.m.

This walk will be led by Greener Henley member Isabelle. We will be walking away from the rushed pace of daily life, to a place that is the furthest away from busy roads. As we seek access to the wildest areas we can find around the Harpsden valley, you will be invited to connect to the simple beauty of nature in your own personal way, putting your mind on pause and tuning in through your senses. You will be offered some suggestions to guide you on your journey to soothe your nervous system and relax your body as we explore the landscape and soundscape together.

Admission: FREE – please book your tickets here:

Meet near parking bay, Gillotts Field, Greys Road, Henley on Thames.
Harpsden valley, Henley on Thames RG9

Directions: Gillotts Field aka the Town Green is on left side of Greys Road just past the sharp bend at Gillotts Lane heading towards Rotherfield Greys. Parking bays on left. This will be a gentle slow-paced walk. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather. We will be walking mostly on public footpaths, but will encounter potentially muddy patches, rough terrain, nettles and stiles. Nothing too strenuous though. There will be an opportunity to chat to Isabelle about nature-based mindfulness practices and the art of walking well.
