Good for your health, good for the planet

Eating a plant-rich diet and less meat and dairy, can significantly lower your environmental impact whilst also being better for your health. Producing plant-based foods results in fewer greenhouse gas emissions and requires less energy, land, and water, leaving more space for nature.

“Eating more plants is a gift to our health and the natural world: it could return vast amounts of land to forests, wetlands, and wildlife on a scale nothing else in our daily lives can match. A recovering natural world will draw down carbon at an enormous scale and is among the most powerful actions we can take as individuals.” Food security expert Professor Paul Behrens
