Green Screen: I Could Never Go Vegan

Greener Henley is pleased to be hosting our next Green Screen event I Could Never Go Vegan at the Regal Cinema on Wednesday 15th May @ 8pm
Five words spoken around the world by so many non-vegans, but why? On a quest for the truth, a filmmaker sets out on a journey to find out the leading arguments facing the vegan movement, and if they’re justified. Film followed by a panel discussion.
This screening’s panel consists of:
- Chair: Ed Hopkins, founder of Dark Green PR and Green Communications Expert
- Vanessa Sturman – Vanessa Sturman is a Transformational Health Coach and Award-Winning Speaker. She helps leaders, the public and sports people eat their way to great performance, increased resilience and a healthy weight by implementing non-restrictive, healthy eating habits and incorporating more delicious, anti-inflammatory, plant based wholefoods
- Linda Newbery – author and campaigner on animal and environmental issues. Her recent publication This Book is Cruelty Free – Animals and Us looks at our daily choices, how they affect animals and the environment, and how we can choose better.
- Ollie Phillips, former English professional Rugby Union player and now multinational business director. As a self proclaimed rampant carnivore, he will be sharing his views on why he could never go vegan!
- Bella Connell is a 5th generation farmer in the Hambleden Valley and, along with her husband, farms beef cattle, sheep and arable crops. Chairman of the Royal South Bucks Agricultural Association and a member of the National Farmers Union, Bella is passionate about sustainable farming practices.
